The desktop reader stores your imported files, notes, highlights, progress and local music on your device. It does not upload your library or require an app account. Local storage is not encrypted; protect your computer and keep backups. Uninstall keeps the library so you can recover it.

Local trials and rewards

The app keeps trial start/end times, local reward outcomes, cooldown dates and licence status on your device. These are not sent to a promotion server. The free reward wheel is separate from paid checkout.

Optional daily discoveries

When you enable online discoveries, the app requests predefined factual catalogue metadata from Wikidata. Your library, reading history and search terms are not sent. The provider receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Turn discoveries off in the app. Cached metadata can remain on your computer.

This website

This website does not include Google Analytics, an advertising tracker or embedded third-party video player. The product film is hosted with the website. We have not added optional analytics cookies. Cloudflare processes ordinary request information to serve and protect the site; hosting settings and provider policies also apply.

Reader reviews

Submissions remain closed until the moderation service and a public contact address are configured. When enabled, you choose a public nickname, rating and review. Do not include private information. Approved reviews become public. A rotating daily hash derived from connection information is used for abuse limits; the app does not store raw IP addresses in the review database. Hashes are cleared after seven days on subsequent submissions. Pending, rejected and removed entries are cleared after thirty days on subsequent submissions; approved reviews remain until removed. These are activity-triggered cleanup periods, not guaranteed deletion at an exact moment.

A contact route for review removal and data rights must be published before collection opens. You may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, subject to applicable law, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner.

Payments and seller details

Checkout is currently disabled. This site does not collect card details, passwords or payment credentials. The seller's full business/contact details, final processing purposes, retention and payment-provider information must be published before paid sales begin.

The sample notebook stores only the note you choose to save in this browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us. Use Reset demo to remove it. This user-requested storage does not track you.
