Does PANDA Reads include books or manga?
You import your own files. The editions do not provide commercial books, manga, comics or music. The illustrations on this website are original project artwork.
Do I need an app account or an internet connection?
No app account is needed. Reading and imported audio work locally. The installer includes Python. On a computer without Microsoft WebView2, setup may need internet to install that Microsoft component. Downloading the app, buying a licence and receiving your licence file also need internet.
Is £72 an automatically renewing subscription?
No. It is one payment for 12 months of Premium, from licence issue. Access expires; you choose whether to purchase another year. There is no automatic renewal or monthly charge.
Can I use it on Mac or my phone?
This release is for Windows desktop. Mac, iOS and Android editions are not currently available.
Is this the finished installer?
Windows installer downloads are paused while builds and release testing are completed. The planned download is one Setup.exe; you will not need to install Python separately. Premium checkout is also being prepared. The website does not currently take payments.
Where do my files go?
The desktop app stores imported copies, notes, reading progress and music on your computer. Your original files stay where they were. Back up your local library, and protect your computer; the library is not encrypted.
